Are these new mover templates really free to customize?▼
Yes. Editing any template in the PostKnock Design Studio is free, with no credit card required. You only pay per piece when you actually mail — from $1.05 per 4×6 card on the Free plan and from $0.79 on Pro. Printing and USPS First-Class postage are included in that per-piece price.
What makes a good new mover postcard?▼
A genuine "welcome to the neighborhood" tone, a specific first-time or move-in offer, your business name and phone number, and an easy next step — a QR code to your booking page works well. New residents respond best to a concrete reason to try you now, before they settle into other providers. Every field in these templates is editable.
Do new mover postcards actually work?▼
Results vary by industry, offer, and timing, so treat any number as an estimate. Industry studies (such as the ANA Response Rate Report) typically report direct-mail response in the low single digits. New movers are a strong audience because they are actively choosing local providers, and pairing the postcard with a follow-up phone call generally lifts response further.
How do I reach people who just moved in?▼
There are two supported paths in PostKnock. Use EDDM-style saturation mailing to cover entire new neighborhoods and developments by area, or import a list of addresses as a CSV file — the import wizard auto-maps the columns. PostKnock does not connect to any new-mover data provider or CRM directly; you either mail by area with EDDM or import your own CSV.
Which industries do you have templates for?▼
PostKnock includes pre-built playbooks and starting designs for 50+ industries — dental, med spa, home cleaning, HVAC, optometry, veterinary, chiropractic, salons, plumbing, landscaping, and many more. The three above are examples; you can adapt any template to your business in the Design Studio.
Can I add follow-up phone calls to a new mover campaign?▼
Yes, on the Pro plan. After a welcome postcard is delivered, the built-in Call Queue populates so your front desk can work a daily list of follow-up calls using per-wave scripts. You can also run multi-touch wave sequences (up to 5 waves) so households that don't respond automatically advance to the next touch.
What postcard sizes can I send?▼
PostKnock supports three sizes: 4×6, 6×9, and 6×11. The templates above are shown at 4×6, the most common and lowest-cost option. You can switch sizes in the Design Studio, and EDDM-style saturation mailing is available when you want to blanket new neighborhoods instead of mailing a named list.
