Are these seasonal templates really free to customize?▼
Yes. Editing any template in the PostKnock Design Studio is free, with no credit card required. You only pay per piece when you actually mail — from $1.05 per 4×6 card on the Free plan and from $0.79 on Pro. Printing and USPS First-Class postage are included in that per-piece price.
When should I mail a seasonal promotion?▼
Aim to land in mailboxes a few weeks before demand peaks — ahead of the heating or cooling season, before the holidays, or just before spring cleanup. First-Class mail typically delivers in a few business days, so build in lead time for printing and transit when you schedule the drop. The goal is to reach customers while they're deciding, not after they've already booked elsewhere.
What makes a good seasonal promo postcard?▼
A clear seasonal hook ("Beat the first cold snap"), a specific time-bound offer with a deadline, your business name and phone number, and an easy next step — a QR code to your booking page works well. A firm "book by" date gives customers a reason to act now instead of later. Every field in these templates is editable.
Do seasonal postcards actually work?▼
Results vary by industry, offer, timing, and list quality, so treat any number as an estimate. Industry studies (such as the ANA Response Rate Report) typically report direct-mail response in the low single digits, with house lists — like your own past customers — landing toward the higher end of that range. Pairing the postcard with a follow-up phone call generally lifts response further.
Which industries do you have seasonal templates for?▼
PostKnock includes pre-built playbooks and starting designs for 50+ industries — HVAC, med spa, lawn care and landscaping, dental, optometry, pest control, pool service, auto repair, and many more. The three above are examples; you can adapt any template to your business and season in the Design Studio.
Can I mail a seasonal promo to a whole neighborhood?▼
Yes. If you want to reach an area rather than a named list, EDDM-style saturation mailing lets you blanket nearby USPS carrier routes without uploading individual addresses. If you do have a customer or prospect list, export it from your existing system as a CSV and import it — the wizard auto-maps the columns. PostKnock does not connect to your CRM directly; the supported path is CSV export and import.
Can I add follow-up phone calls to a seasonal campaign?▼
Yes, on the Pro plan. After a postcard is delivered, the built-in Call Queue populates so your front desk can work a daily list of follow-up calls using per-wave scripts. You can also run multi-touch wave sequences (up to 5 waves) so non-responders automatically advance to the next touch during the season.
What postcard sizes can I send?▼
PostKnock supports three sizes: 4×6, 6×9, and 6×11. The templates above are shown at 4×6, the most common and lowest-cost option. Larger 6×9 and 6×11 cards give a seasonal offer more room to stand out in the mailbox — you can switch sizes in the Design Studio.
