PostKnock + Mindbody
Mindbody runs the schedule and the membership database. PostKnock runs the lapsed-member win-back and the new-mover acquisition postcards Mindbody doesn't ship.
What Mindbody is
Mindbody is the industry-standard booking and membership platform for yoga, pilates, fitness, and wellness studios. It owns class schedules, intro offers, member billing, and the customer database.
Why postcards on top of Mindbody
Mindbody's email module is generic and notoriously crowded — every studio on Mindbody emails their list, so opens are low. A printed postcard with a clear intro-offer or "we miss you" message stands out. Pair it with a same-week front-desk call asking how they liked their last class and you win back members no email sequence is reaching.
How a PostKnock + Mindbody integration would work
Contact sync
Pull-based via the Mindbody Public API (v6). PostKnock would sync Clients filtered by Last Visit Date and active membership status. Intro-offer leads who didn't convert are a separate segment. One-way for MVP.
Trigger types
- →Lapsed member (no class booked in 30/60/90 days) — Win-back postcard wave with a free class offer
- →Intro-offer expired without conversion — Targeted “come back for one more class” postcard
- →Birthday — Birthday postcard with a free guest pass
- →Membership cancellation last month — 30-day-out reactivation postcard

Can I export from Mindbody manually today?▼
Yes. The Reports section exports client lists as CSV including last visit date and membership status. Upload to PostKnock and the columns auto-map.
Will it sync two-way?▼
Phase 1 is one-way. Phase 2 will post a Mindbody Note when a wave fires, visible to your front desk.
Cost?▼
No integration fee. Pay per postcard at standard rates.
How does this compare to Mindbody's built-in marketing tools?▼
Mindbody's marketing is email-only inside their suite. PostKnock is the printed-mail + phone-followup layer. Use both.
Multi-location studios?▼
Yes — PostKnock supports tenant-scoped contact lists, so each studio location keeps its own segment.
